Thursday, September 11th3 pm – 8 pm Home Economic entries accepted
Livestock packet pickup in Expo office (Parking passes & back tags)
6 pm – 8pm Faulkner County Fair Clean up and set up day
Friday, September 12th
9:30 am Home Economic Judging (except Baked Goods & Floriculture)
Saturday, September 13th
Campers may begin entering the fairgrounds •Reservations required•
9:00 Check in begins for 13 and under.
10:00 Check in for Jr. (14-17) and Miss (18-23) contestants. (Arrive ready for interview)
10:00 Faulkner County Fair Queen (Ages 13 and under) Pageant Begins
We will crown each division after each group is on stage. After your crowning, you are free to go. After the 10/13 beauty division crowning, Jr and Senior contestants will compete in evening wear and on stage question.
Sunday, September 14th
1 pm – 4 pm Set up Educational Booths
2 pm – 10 pm Animals May Arrive at the Fairgrounds for Check In
4 pm – 6 pm Enter Baked Goods & Floriculture (option of 2 day drop off - Sun & Mon)
Monday, September 15th
6 am - Midnight Animals May Arrive at the Fairgrounds for Check In
6 am-11 am All breeding sheep and goats may begin entering and be in place by 11 am
9 am – 11 am Enter Baked Goods & Floriculture (option of 2 day drop off - Sunday & Monday
9 am – 6 pm Set up Educational Booths must be in place and remain in place until 9 am Sunday
10 am – 6 pm Set up Commercial Booths
10 am Ag Mechanics must be in place
10 am - 12 pm Ag Mechanics check-in and classification
11 am Small Ruminants check-in/weigh-in by committee. Papers must be presented.
1 pm Ag Mechanics Show (judging) - Exhibitors must be present at judging unless showing another
exhibit. If showing another exhibit, you must see the Ag Mechanics Superintendent for other
arrangements.
2:30 Small Ruminants exhibitor mandatory meeting
3 pm The following shows/awards will take place in the order listed:

4 pm-10 pm Poultry may begin entering the fairgrounds
7 pm – 10 pm Swine may enter the fairgrounds (health papers will be checked before unloading)
10 pm All Poultry (other than broilers) MUST be in place
Midnight All Swine Must be in place by Midnight on Monday, September 15th. Commercial Gilt and Faulkner
County Bred Weights are due online by 5PM on Monday
Tuesday, September 16th
6 am - 2 pm Animals May Arrive at the Fairgrounds for Check In.
ALL LIVESTOCK ANIMALS MUST BE IN PLACE EXCEPT MEAT PEN RABBITS, SINGLE FRYER
RABBITS AND PASTURE TO PLATE STEERS. Check-in times vary by species. Please refer to
your department's schedule for specific details.
8 am Swine Showmanship followed by
Breeding Swing Show followed by
Faulkner County Bred
8 am-2 pm Pet and Breed Class rabbits check-in (Meat Pen & Single Fryer check in on Wednesday)
8:30 am Broilers will be judged in the Rabbit Show area & all other poultry will be judged in the poultry area. All
broilers will be released after judging. The general breed will be judged following the broiler show.
10 am – 5 pm Set up Commercial Booth
2 pm ALL LIVESTOCK ANIMALS MUST BE IN PLACE EXCEPT MEAT PEN RABBITS,
SINGLE FRYER RABBITS AND PASTURE TO PLATE STEERS.

9 am -10 am Dog Obedience Exhibition (School Groups Welcome)
10:15 am Youth Dog Show – Begins at 10:15 am & concludes at 4:30 pm (or earlier depending on number of
entries). Awards will immediately follow the show and end at 5:00 pm.
4 pm-12 am Midway and Commercial Exhibits Open
5:30 pm Livestock Award Ceremony begins followed by Parade of Champions (recognition of livestock
contestant's awards)
6 pm – 8 pm Parade of Champions - All Grand and Reserve Market Animals will be on exhibit in the Show Ring
8 pm Old Timer’s Showmanship
Saturday, September 20th -KIDS DAY ARMBAND Day (10 am-3:30 pm)
(Arm bands will not be sold after 3 PM)

8:15 am Check-in for the Faulkner County Fair Kids Talent Contest at the Centennial Bank Stage
9 am Faulkner County Fair Kids Talent Contest (Ages: 0-9) at the Centennial Bank Stage
10 am Junior Livestock Premium Auction Sale
10 am Cowboy Cutie Contest (Ages: 0-9) at Centennial Stage
10 am Midway and Commercial Exhibits Open
12:00 pm Check-In for the Cowboy Cutie Contest Near the Centennial Stage
10 pm Livestock & Exhibits Dismissed (Dismissal Subject to Change)
10 pm Ag Mechanics exhibits will be released (even if purchased prior in the week)
Midnight Midway Closed – End of Fair- All livestock and tack must be off Fairgrounds
Sunday, September 21st
8:30 am Any livestock or tack left on the fairgrounds at this time will be sold or given away. The original owner or
person who entered the livestock in the Fair will be charged for any expense incurred by the Fair Board
in disposing of the livestock.
1 pm - 3 pm Pick up Home Ec, Horticulture, Floriculture Exhibits & Educational booths
12 pm Cleanup Crew
12 pm- 2 pm Pick up Commercial Booths
