HOME ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT

General Rules & Regulations

Premium checks may be picked up at 6:00 pm. September 22, 2023 at the fair ticket booth window.
1. All exhibitors must be residents of Faulkner County.
2. Youth exhibitors are those who are age 17 and under. Adult exhibitors are ages 18 & up.

3. All exhibits in the Youth and Adult Division will be awarded premiums on an A, B, C, and D basis. Ribbons will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
4. 
Youth and adult exhibitors may enter ONLY ONE ITEM PER CLASS of each division in each department.
5. All items must be produced by the exhibitor after last year’s county fair.
6. No weapons will be displayed.
7. All exhibits must be entered by the exhibitor or the exhibitor’s representative by the deadline. Entries MUST be entered online at: faulk.fairmanager.com, or by coming to the Faulkner County Extension Office-844 Faulkner Street, M-F 8 am. to 4 pm., or by calling the Extension Office at 501-329-8344 with any questions. Home Economics exhibits MUST be brought Thursday, September 14
th, 2023 3-8 pm., with the exception of Baked Goods and Floriculture, which is on Sunday, September 17th, 2023 from 4-6 pm. and Monday, September 18th, 2023 from 9-11 am.
8. 
Any Home Ec. entries brought after the entry deadline will receive a participation
ribbon and will be for display purposes as space allows.

9. All exhibits MUST be picked up between 9 am. and 2 pm. on Sunday,
September 24
th, 2023.
10. Soiled articles will not be accepted.
11. All exhibitors must be amateurs and must not have earned $1,000.00 or more per year from the craft or hobby they will exhibit.
12. All Home economics Division Exhibits will be judged Friday, September 15th, 2023
starting at 9:30 am. 13. 
Judging will be CLOSED to the public. THE JUDGE’S DECISION
WILL BE FINAL.
14. The Chairmen of each Division shall have supervision and control of the exhibits in
 his/her Division during the Fair, and reserves the right to prescribe the dimensions, regulate the positions of all exhibits so far as may be necessary to secure harmony and attractive appearance and reserves the right to accept or reject an item before or after entry is made.
